Flat Seal Face Plain Pipe Fitting Plated Flange Stainless Steel Fittings
The Flat Face flange has a gasket surface in the same plane as the bolting circle face. Applications using flat face flanges are frequently those in which the mating flange or flanged fitting is made from a casting.
The flat surface allows for full contact across the whole face of the two flanges. Only Full Face Gaskets are to be used for "Flat Face" flanges. This ensures full and equal contact between the two mating flanges
